The “Xavier” couch table

A few days after the “Xavier” storm which happened on the 05/10/2017 in North of Germany, I discovered these attractive pieces of wood during my jogging. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with them, but I decided to bring them back home.

Almost 1 year later, on the 03/10/2018, the wood was finally dry.

  • I bought 2m of oak cylinders for the legs.
  • Then I put the top of the future table on the floor.
  • I drilled 3 holes into the stump for the legs.
  • I inserted the legs and marked cutting lines to get the table horizontal and at the same height as my sofa.
  • A few adjustments with the saw later, voila: my “Xavier” coach table.
